Jay Baldwin has been with Hennepin County for 20 years and took over the role as Fleet Manager in 2018. In his role, he provides leadership and develops strategic initiatives in managing over 1,200 assets and a $20 million annual budget. He is someone who is data driven, a creative thinker and not afraid of leading change. He is persistent in driving towards set outcomes that can be measured.
Previously at Hennepin County, Jay served as a Principle Administrative Manager that supported the Department Director, Assistant Director and Senior Management team in the Transportation Department by managing and coordinating the administrative functions of the department including making strategic, tactical, and operational decisions.
