Makela has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. She has over 15 years’ experience in operations, finance, and administration for non-profit, corporate, retail and government organizations. Makela has been the Fleet Financial Analyst with San Joaquin County for the past 5 years and has increased operational efficiencies within the fleet by implementing sound auditing practices for inventory management. Makela’s significant contributions enabled San Joaquin County Fleet Services to place #3 in the Government Fleet Leading Fleets for 2021, and she is looking forward to an amazing experience at GFX 2022!
