Ali Brodeur is an engineering psychologist at the U.S. DOT Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, MA. She conducts research on human factors in surface transportation and her portfolio includes work on safety advancement in vehicle design, road safety and vulnerable road users, innovation in connected data and emissions analysis research in support of U.S. DOT and other agencies.
This session will address the blind zones common in larger vehicles, present safety data on regular versus high-vision trucks, show what to look for when spec’ing for safety, and explain how you can use Vision Zero programs for support and funding. More Info
