Resilient Leadership: Prepare Today to Prevail Tomorrow
From global and domestic terrorist threats to natural disasters, we encounter new risks to our individual, community and economic security each day. And while we can’t predict what’s around the corner, we can prepare—because when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges, it is strong leadership guided by clarity of purpose and practical tactics for overcoming adversities that drive us to prevail—better prepared and more resilient. In his book Don't Get Stuck on Stupid! General Russel Honoré expertly connects his 3+ decades of military leadership—including his crucial role in managing New Orleans’ relief efforts post Hurricane Katrina—to the natural disasters and man-made tragedies dominating global headlines to reveal critical strategies for transforming individuals into leaders and helping organizations and communities effectively prepare, react, rebound and unify.

Keynote Speaker: Lt. General Russel L. Honoré, Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, Global Preparedness Authority

*The keynote address will begin at 8:30am following a hearty buffet breakfast, including coffee and drinks.

Testimonials

“Right place, Right people, Right time. We'll be back next year!”

-Rocky Rock, Sales Operations Manager, PureForge, Poway, CA

For years GFX has been the best value for government fleet managers looking to expand their knowledge & network with a large group of their peers at one location/event. If you can only attend one conference per year, GFX should be your first choice.

-Ron Lindsey, Director of Fleet Management, County of San Bernardino, San Bernardino, CA

“The Block Party Experience is a perfect way to see new technology in a hands-on setting. So much is changing & the ability to speak directly with the key drivers in our industry & experience it first hand is always the best way to make decisions."

-Mike Lewis, Regional Sales Manager, Club Car LLC, Riverside, CA

Mark Stevens

“I can shamefully admit that after nearly 40 years as Fleet Manager this was my first GFX, but happy to report not my last! I loved the "Campfire" sessions & how they were able to address specific situations and challenges."

-Mark Stevens, Fleet Manager, City of Sacramento, Sacramento, CA

Mr. James L Vincent

“There was a bigger crowd, and conversations were deeper and longer this year."

-Mr. James L Vincent, Federal Fleet Consultant, Teletrac Navman, Garden Grove, CA

Don Walker

“GFX is a good conference to attend for three reasons. 1. Great opportunities to meet and get to know your peers in the fleet industry 2. Good choices in training sessions 3. Lots of good info and networking on the expo floor with vendors.”

-Don Walker, Fleet Manager, Ada County Sheriff's Office, Boise, ID

Nathan Washington

“GFX is a great event. Having the ability to meet with prospective clients & clients to discover areas where we can potentially help solve challenges within their fleet(s) is extremely valuable to myself & GPS Insight. We truly value GFX."

-Nathan Washington, Government Sales Manager - Southwest Region, GPS Insight, Scottsdale, AZ

Tom Keyser

“It was great attending GFX for the first time! I was able to network with my peers, meet new vendors and learn more about topics affecting my operations.”

-Tom Keyser, Fleet Manager, Washington County Oregon, Hillsboro, OR

“I am new to running a fleet and didn't even know what I didn't know. This conference provided an excellent education and opportunity to meet other fleet managers facing similar challenges.”

-Brent Hulsether, Fleet services supervisor, Shawnee county Parks and Rec, Topeka, KS

“This conference is by far the most informative for government fleet professionals. I have brought back new ideas to implemented in our shop every time I have attended."

-Paul Colell, Fleet Service Manager, Town of Castle Rock, Castle Rock, CO

“The GFX Conference is the showcase and the pinnacle of the Government Fleet Industry and is a must attended for any Fleet professional. It is a highly educational and critical must-attend event!”

“GFX is the only place on the planet where you'll find the best government fleet minds all assembled at one location.”
