Driver behavior is one factor when it comes to road safety, but the other factor is the vehicle itself. Larger vehicles notoriously have blind spots that contribute to vehicle collisions and reduced road safety. The best way to address this? Spec’ing a safer vehicle. This session will address the blind zones common in larger vehicles, present safety data on regular versus high-vision trucks, show what to look for when spec’ing for safety, and explain how you can use Vision Zero programs for support and funding.
