From Trash to Triumph: The City of Houston's Fleet Strategy (Concurrent)

November 17
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

The City of Houston presents a case study in going from run-to-failure maintenance to data-based decision making. The fleet department’s new business intelligence model considers critical elements such as limited budgets, municipal concerns, fleet electrification, and an aging fleet. Attendees will learn how the fleet team made its changes after evaluating pitfalls; useful data points; personnel development; client engagement; and catastrophic obstacles such as weather, pandemics, and civil unrest.
