Sarah Mark is the Fleet and Facilities Manager at the City of Moline, Illinois, and has been with
the City since 2011. Sarah started her career with the City of Moline as a Fleet Administrative
Assistant, but showed interest and aptitude for finance and data analysis. Because of her
interest in the behind the scenes of fleet management, she was taught life-cycle analysis, vehicle
replacement best practices, and how to develop, manage, and implement a multi-million dollar
budget. In 2017, Sarah’s position changed to Fleet and Facilities Coordinator, with new
responsibilities of consolidated utility payment and review, high-level data analysis, and
maintenance contract oversight for all City-owned properties and budget development.
